Naked Flames
Naked Flames accidentally creates a horrifying monster during our interview: “indie house.”
While chatting about the amorphous, often unhelpful label of “outsider house” his music is placed under, he unknowingly uttered a combination of words that made every Spotify ghoul start to salivate. But there is a better question here, what the hell do you call Naked Flames’ music?
The UK producer often refers to his work as dub rave, and that’s a good enough starting place as any. But, in truth, Miracle in Transit laughs at labels. This is a joyous, propulsive electronic album beaming with a light giddiness. What the hell do you call Naked Flames’ music? Damn good! We talked with him below.
